[/size][font "Times New Roman"][size 3][blue]As previously mentioned, you do not need to be a resident of the specific state, in order to assist with moderating. It helps, but with modern technology, it is not necessary. However, we do look for past residency or applicable experience.[/blue][/size][/font][size 1]

I see that Minnesota is listed. Lord knows we could use help here! With Flagmanonice working all the time, and me playing the part of daddy on top of 10 hr work days, I hardly have time to get on here on a regular basis like I used to.

But things will get better now that summer is just around the corner. There will be more outdoor time with the girlfriend's kid. There will be less time busy with other Autumn to Spring activities. So I'll be back on a more regular basis. But I sure could use some help covering the north side of the state!

[cool][#0000ff]If you get a chance, you might wanna try recruiting from other boards, or from local tackle dealers or guides. We offer some advertising incentives to make it attractive to commercial interests to become members. We also find that they are sometimes pretty good candidates for moderators.[/#0000ff]

[cool][#0000ff]You might check in on the Mods promo board. There are samples and files in there of things we have put together in the past. BFT does not print them and send them out, but you can take the image to a quick print place and get them fairly cheap. They can be in black and white if you want to save $$$.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Nothing beats face to face or a phone call though. The personal invitation goes a long way. Be sure to have some of the business cards filled in with your info to leave with them. No matter how many times you tell someone how easy the BFT site is to find, it still helps to have it printed out for them to follow. Then you need to follow up with anybody you have talked to. You gotta be a bit of a pesky salesman.[/#0000ff]
