WENT OUT TWICE THIS LAST WEEKEND, SAT I TOOK MY LITTLE GIRL OUT AND WE WENT TO LOST CREEK I WAS HOPING TO HAVE SOME LUCK FOR HER SAKE BUT THAT DIDN'T HAPPEN. IT WAS COLD AND THE FISHING WAS VERY LOW. SUN WENT TO ECHO FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER.. AND ALL THIS TIME I'VE BEEN DRIVING RIGHT ON BYE GOING TO ROCKPORT.. TOOK MY SON AND HIS FRIEND WE HAD VERY GOOD LUCK WE CAUGHT 3 FISH THAT WERE 18 1/2 INCHES AND 6 OTHERS THAT WERE AT LEAST 16 THEY REALLY SEEMED TO LIKE GOLD I TRIED OTHER COLORS BUT NO LUCK.. IT WAS A VERY FUN DAY WATCHING THE BOYS CATCH THOSE FISH.

That sure is a great bunch of trout! Sorry to hear Lost Creek didn't produce for ya though. Was the water there still murky?

A friend from work was also at Lost creek on Saturday, only caught two from a boat. The good thing was they were a nice size for that lake but it was very slow for being in a boat. WH2

Nice fish! Do they have the boat ramp open yet or were you hittin it from the bank? You said they liked gold,I'm assuming you were casting lure's or were you bait fishin.Thanks in advance for the info if you don't mind sharing!

VERY NICE CEMENT RAMP.. WE WERE TROLLING WITH GOLD POP GEAR AND A WORM. ALSO ORANGE WITH GOLD RAPALA. DIDN'T SEE ANYONE ON THE SHORE SO I'M NOT SURE..

Thanks ROYTROUT...I just put a new four stroke trolling motor on my boat and needed a place close to home to try it out.Echo will be perfect.Sounds like I can catch fish as a bonus.
