Banks Lake Walleye Tournament. (May 20th) Saturday’s weigh-in and the leading team has 23.18 pounds with a 6 fish limit and the big fish for the day was 9.26 pounds. That 9.26 fish was worth $3,700.
The second place team for yesterday had 20.12 pounds of fish and well over half the teams were turning in tournament limits of 6-fish. There should be some interesting totals today if the good fishing holds out for another day.
Gordon Steinmetz of Big Wally’s said there have been more 6-fish limits this year than ever before for as far back as he can remember since as long as he has been running the tournament.
