niantic bay/milstone

with the weather being rainy and foggy we decieded to stay close,so we headed to niantic bay in front of milstone.the were a few boats at the outlet of milstone and a couple out aways.we stayed in the 50"mark and seem to do ok.with 1 large skate 11 fluke with 10 of them being short,1 bluefish,and 2 striper that broke off at the boat.one of them being in the high 30"mark.also we got one keeper lobster.hopefully next week we can get out to rhode island

Talk about a mixed bag. I stayed home sat. but having cabin fever I'm heading to panagasset sunday. Glad to see the fluke are in alittle bit. I'll be taking the wife out on the big pond the 17th & 24th. Bummer loseing the striper.[unsure] Was all this caught while fluken or did you mix it up abit?

all but the bluefish were caught while fluking,a school of blues went by and i grabed my other rod and made a few cast at them.
