Deer Creek (6/7/06) and Willard Bay (6/8/06
#1
Grimwiper and I went off into this crazy weather from 1-4 pm at DC and I only managed one 23 inch rainbow to Grimwiper's zero. The rolling thunderheads sure had the fish mostly spooked, and the lake was a ghost town for sure. It was surreal to be out there by yourself.

Thursday morning, Grimwiper and I hit the bay at 9 am and fished til 3 pm as the microburst winds blew us off just in time as we were leaving. We only boated a few... Grimwiper wins this time five wipers and a walleye to my one wiper. It was hard fishing, with only one fish per hour. Again, the lake was such a desolated place, I didn't see a single BFT soul. In fact we only saw perhaps one or two other fishing boats in the entire place, the rest of the boats were just recreationalist boaters.
I guess you all went to pineview...[Tongue]
