Lodge at Little hole
#1
I do not know every thing there is to know about the proposed lease of land at little hole, but there is already land being torn up at little hole and it does not look good. One of my favorite get aways because of its beauty. It would be a shame for the State to alow a building to be built along with all the other distructive thing that go along with a development of this nature. We also know if one is alowed it is easier to bring in more development in future years.
Let the Governor and any other law maker know your feeling on the subject.

The Green river should be protected as much as a rock arch!!

Great lets commercialize one the purest spots in the state. Why don' they just put a bait shop half way up from Little Hole towards the dam.

James, a large group of people signing a petition will go a lot farther than several individual emails.
Can we get an organized petition from BFT or some major fishing group for us to sign?
We could leave some at Sportsman's and Cabelas for anglers to sign?
This will be the beginning of the end of the Green River for us common folk!

James, the work taking place at Little Hole right now is a gas pipeline, and has nothing to do with the lodge. The lodge is a venture by Spinner Fall guiding service and a developer out of Georga. SITLA (school trust lands) tried to do this dirty deal quietly, but thanks to fishermen, the cat is out of the bag. There have been several articles and opinions now in the local papers and the governor has recieved numerous emails (including one from me). Hopefully with the right amount of pressure from sportsmen this deal can be stopped.

A petition would be a good thing! Currantly the guys up around little hole are putting up a struggle and the guys on UTOF are putting up a stink. there are less than 500,000 fishing licenses, what few of us there are we need to make a big noise.

I thought that was a pipe line. I can just see there ramp making the same kind of eye clutter.

[black][size 3]SITLA has put off the decision for another 3 to 4 weeks. This has got to be good news. I think we are making progress. Keep those letters and phone calls going!! I usually hang out on the other board and only pop over here from time to time and was pleased to see this thread. Thanks to everybody at BFT that has written or called already!!! Good Job!!
