Liberty Park Pond to be drained to search for missing girl

I live 3 houses from the park, the pond was treated with Copper sulfate to get rid of the weeds just last week. Then the level was brought up to cover the weeds.
Liberty park pond is not very deep, a body in there for 8 days in this heat would have floated by now and there have been workers on the island all week who would have seen it. Not to mention the constant paddle boats. Still worth it to drain it, I hope they let it sit empty for a few days to bake the weeds. It has water coming in all the time and will refill, it is also a catch basin for storm run off and 1 thunderstorm along the east bench will fill it overnite.
