Where can you camp near Mantua?
#1
I'm going fishing this weekend in mantua (thanks eveyrone who gave me advice... this is passeyism I just changed my user name). We thought we knew where to camp at but apparently we don't... we want someplace for a tent and a camp fire that isnt' a KOA... we might be barking up the wrong tree but Mantua seemed to have the best fishing lately so we decided to go there... now we have to figure out if we can camp there...[Smile]

There is a camp ground just before Mantua as you go up the canyon from Brigham.
To get to the campground from I-15.
Take 1100 south Brigham City/Logan exit
Head East and stay on the road.
Take first Mantua Exit (About 2 miles up the canyon)
After you exit you will take the first Right.
You will come to a T in the road and a stop sign then turn left.
The campgrounds will be on the left after about 200 yards.

Hope this helps.
If you need more information PM me I live in Brigham City.

I think the campground that Jethro's talking about is called Box Elder, and it's a national forest service campground, and it's probably listed on their reservation site.

There's also a private campground, more like a KOA probably, right next to the lake.
