Steam rolled at Causey 9-23
#1
Me and Petty4life decided to torture ourselves at Causey this morning. We had forgotten how much fun it really is hiking up and down the dam with all of our gear....we were reminded quite brutally. Anyways, we began trolling shallow thinking we would get some fish near the surface...we were wrong. So we motored to the back and sat around for a bit. I nabbed a spawned out koke that was mostly dead...nothing to brag about there. Had a few more bites, but no hookups. We headed back and decided to try deeper. Jason caught a small silver koke, and that was it. We did manage to find a cooler full of food though, kinda strange. Nothing in it was worth keeping though. We also found 1/2 of a fishing pole...once again, kind of useless without the tip. The one nice thing about the trip was the scenery. Here is a cool pic of the steam coming off the water in the sunshine.

Nice to fish with you again Jason.

I figured it belonged to him! It's too bad you had to work today...I guess now that you are the big cheese on the job, you get promoted to working more hours!

The lake is down about 50-60 vertical feet. Gonna make ice fishing lots of fun!
