Great looking fish, but I have a hunch it wasn't caught in Idaho. Where was the picture taken?

[cool]I've heard stories of around the turn of the century or so that on the Snake and Columbia Rivers that folks used to have to go get the tractor or horse and buggy to haul out some of the monster stugeon back in those days. Then people would can and can and can those bad boys to help get them through the winter...

If you find a store that sells post cards, they will usually have that pic and some others of tractors hauling them out. My best to date is 9' 0". I don't expect to ever catch another one that size in my lifetime. They are truely huge monsters. They used to regularly land them over 13'.
