I fished Friday and Saturday in the rain, wind and cold. Catching was steady both days. Friday was very cold and wet. It rained almost all day the the wind was really bad on Friday afternoon. We caught around 20 slot cutts on Friday and another 15 on Saturday morning. We only had a couple of hours to fish on Saturday. Most of the fish were caught on white tube jigs. We were fishing the Bryants Fork area. Saturday morning sounded like a war zone between the elk hunters and the duck hunters. Fishing was much better on Saturday, but we only had a couple of hours to fish in the morning. We were off the water by 9 a.m.
If you ever want to fish Strawberry by yourself, go when it is raining like crazy with a stiff breeze and 40 degree temps, and you will get your wish. I only saw two other boats on Friday.
