Hit the weber again yesterday with djremo. This time with the "right" stuff.
Started off with a size 20 BWO and a few "homegrown" patterns in 20 and 22. The fish were going crazy with the hatch. I landed around 12 fish with one going 16" and djremo landed 4 I think. Not bad for his second time flyfishing. We missed a ton of fish. They would take it like a normal fish but would not be there when we set the hook. They were browns and not whitefish like is sometimes the case with alot of misses.
Anyway, the water is perfect for fall fly fishing and the fish are very agressive.Oh, i forgot about the fish i caught and missed on streamers. I tied on a rabbit screamer and caught 5 and missed probably 10 watching alot of them fallow it to the bank. I also used a small muddler for about 10 minutes and caught 1 and missed 3. I also threw some jigs with good success.
If you want good stream action, i would suggest the weber.[cool]
