Fishtoe: If you're after trout it should be good. Marshmallow/worm combo works good on a slip sinker setup. Stop at one of the tackle stores in town for the latest. Some big rainbows are caught from now until freeze and most are from the shore. You can drive down to lakeside and warm up in your vehicle. Take a couple of rod holders.
