#1
Hey guys and gals, I havent posted in a while but im still around. i might be heading past yuba lake tomorrow and was wondering what the story was on that place. Any info would be helpfull!!!

Also I have been working in Vernal and was wondering what the fishing is like in the surrounding areas and what i might be able to find this time of year in the area, besides the Green River and Flaming Gorge. I am familiar with those places. any info would be apreciated. Thankyou

[cool][#0000ff]This might be too late, but Yuba has not fished as well this fall as last year. The hordes of big rainbows have never showed up. Only the occasional skinny bow...usually with anchor worms. [/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]The perch have exploded and have slurped up most of the fathead minnows that the trout were using to grow big and fat. Lots of perch, but you can't keep any until 2008. A few nice northern pike if you can find them. [/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]But, if you are going by anyhooters, throw some spinners and some small white plastics near shore where there are rocks. A few trout DO cruise the shallows, looking for minnows that escape the perch blockade. And, wherever you find perch, you might find a stray pike waiting until they have digested their last perch meal. [/#0000ff]
