Boysen Res. Wyoming
#1
I am planning a holiday ice fishing trip to Boysen res. near Thermopolis. I heard a lot of good reports last year and am interested in chasing jumbo perch for a couple of days. If any of you have any advice or experience with this res. let me know. I am planning on fishing it after Christmas and would like to hone in on a particular area of the lake seeing how it has 76 miles of shoreline it could be a little overwelming going in blind. Thanks ahead of time for any help you could offer.

I will be posting this message on the Wyoming, Idaho, Utah, and Montanna boards to try and get some info.

Thanks

Fish the upper res. down from where the highway crosses over or fish right off the face of the dam. You can use live minows and up to seven lines there. Live minnows seem to do better than jigs with worms (unfortunate experience while we watched others catch fish while we got no bites on our jigs).
