12/2 couldnt see ice from dam so drove to inlet and behold there was ice in the shallows, actually walk out and drilled holes ice was 3" to 4". Ice is only out about 75 yrds from inlet so with the cold weather it shouldnt be long.. water depth was 7 ft.

Thanks for checking. It takes a while for the whole thing to freeze because of the depth. Lots of "heat" to be pulled from the depths before she can cap.
