Did anyone fish huntington today or yesterday? If so how was the ice and road conditions? Is there a place for a car to park? Is the ice "safe"? how is the access for a 3 1/2 year old?
Any info would be great. Thanks.

Lunkerhunter2,
Ice sled and I went on Saturday. We met up with some friends from Mt. Pleasant and fished Huntington. The road conditions are two wheel drive accessible unless the wind has blown heavy on top. The snow plow comes through usually around 7:30. We fished in the middle of the lake. The ice is 5 inches thick, good and safe but the slush was up to a foot deep in spots. If you hunt around a little bit you can find where it is frozen hard enough to get out of the slush. The fishing was excellant. Use millworms, wax worms, and night crawlers on small jigs. We fished in 22 feet of water. Fish came through from a couple of feet off the bottom to just under the ice, all day long. Good luck. P.M. me if you have a question. Pikeman GO FISH
