Jensen Nature Park
#1
I had AF Reserves this weekend, so the only place I could make it was the Jensen Nature Park in Syracuse again. Does anybody know if they just stocked it, because there are some bigger fish in there than I have previously seen. I caught 4 nice sized fish, that I think were tiger trout (from what I have been told anyway). I kept one to take home and cook up for my 8-year old. He measured 19". I caught a bigger one that I gave to another person who keeps them but I did not get a measurement. He started getting a hook jaw, as bigger ones get sometimes. I caught two others that were in the 17-19" range. I caught them all on a rainbow colored Blue Fox spinner on the North side of the lake. It has been hit and miss out there, but I usually see sombody catching something. Ice is starting to form on the West side of the lake. I still don't know if ice fishing is going to be allowed. Does anybody know?

It has been, just this past week. I was told by a DWR official that some brood stock went in. Lakers, brooks, and browns.
Enjoy!
