Scofield 12-27

Took my daughter up to Scofield today and had and enjoyable time on the ice. Towed the tent out with the wheeler and love my new power auger. Tried several different jigs tipped with various bits of protien (waxies, mealies, salmon eggs). We iced two, though the one dad landed will be a nice edible size in about 2 years. Slow day but well worth the trip when my girl can come home and brag about catching a bigger fish than dad.

Maybe try the Berry at CCE tomorrow. Does anyone know if the road is plowed to the marina at Soldier Creek?

I took my daughter to Echo just before Christmas and she out fished me there. It's great when she has braggin rights for a while.
