Summer Heat--Fish Not Bitting what do you do?

We all know that summer heat especially really hot weather increases the water temperature. The fish can become sluggish and sometimes will stop biting all together.

What do some of you do when this happens? Change of flies, size of flies, different retrieve, fish earlier or do we stop fishing all together?

This coming year I plan on taking a trip to the White Clouds during this time and stop fishing all together
