My Wife, Father, Friends and I have a Lake Powell trip planned for Mid-Late April and are planning on renting a houseboat down there. My question is, does anyone know if you can board or start putting your gear on the boat the night before you actually rent it? I could have sworn I seen a post on here and the person said they let him pack up the night before. Also, if they do let you put all your gear on the night before, can you stay on the boat as well, just not leave until daybreak? Any Lake Powell information would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks guys

we have a trip planned mid-late april out of bullfrog. i have researched the heck out of it, since this is my first trip. the preboard feature costs around $250 on top of your rental fee. your rental fee need to be paid in full at least 60 days prior to your departure date. if you do the "preboard" it will allow you to take care of your paperwork and your houseboat tour (which takes about an hour or so), the day before your departure date. you will also be able to load your houseboat that evening and spend the night in the houseboat at the docks, which offer great night fishing too. then ya just wake up the next morning, walk up to the shop and sign a few final papers and off ya go. chick says you should be off the docks by 9am at the latest. (i think the shop doesn't open till 8am) if you don't take advantage of the preboard, you probly won't get of the docks till 1 or 2 in the afternoon! and there is a good chance of leaving something behind cuz yer in such a rush to get going. pm me if you need more info. laters
