Strawberry - Sleds at Marina?

Looking to take the sled across the bay at the marina Fri. afternoon. Anyone been across on a sled or went the long way around and tested the ice?

From the sounds of it everything should be "good to go", but just curious if people have been going across already. Thanks for any info!

I took an ATV across last sunday. 9-11 inches across the bay but I didn't go anywere near haws point. Big snow storm thursday that may weigh down the ice and create a slush monster.

Oooooh, the slush monster can be evil if there is a big dumping of snow.

I took a sled across from the marina past Haws point and into the narrows on 1/1, ice across the bay was 4"
