Cisco fishing

Got to the lake at 10:30am. It took 3 of us 1 1/2 hours to get our limits. Not to fast. My friends went yesterday and said the cisco were running much faster than today. Probably would have got our limits sooner but i forgot my net[]

How thick was the ice?

The ice was 3 inches at most and not that solid. If it doesnt freeze up more before the weekend it could be unsafe with as many people that are going to be out there

Way to go Max. I don't think its going to thaw any its already -14 at 7:45. Brrrrr. I hope it hurries and warms up and melts so I can fish again.[]

Sounds fun Max glad to here you did some good!! I bet there will be plenty of people on the ice out in deeper water by the weekend. You have to really watch that lake for warm springs or you will get wet bin there done that!!!M.H

We used an axe to chop thru the ice and it was very easy since the ice isnt very solid yet

If I remember right it's real cold.[] I just don't have very good luck when it comes to the hard deck.
