Fished rocks cliffs today with tgmuley and his crew. We had a great time. Fishing was good, but not great. We caught 25+ rainbows going from 12 inches to 16 inches, 2 browns-one was 20 inches- nice fish, and 0 perch(didn't really fish for perch though). Fished in 15 to 20 ft of water. Fish came through in spurts. Day was beautiful-cold in the morning, but the sun came out and it warmed up a bit. Talked to a few guys only 1 perch was caught. Ice is 6 inches thick through the whole arm.

How is the parking and access at the Rock Cliffs side? How much does it pay to park there nowadays?

What were you using? Did you do better in the AM or PM? I am thinking of going up there on Mon. with my 5 year old. Would love to get him some hard deck action.

I fished rock cliff today also. I got a late start, hit the ice at 10:30 or 11:00. The access is good. There were some sedans and vans in the parking lot. (saw a red VW with a BFT sticker) The fee to park is $7.00.
I used small jigs tipped with meal worms and wax worms. More success with the meal worms, but I was using the wax worms on my neglected second pole.
I fished along the south shore and made a loop out around the bouys to see if I could find some perch...didn't find any. Caught two browns, one cutt, and a bunch of rainbows. Browns, cutt and a few bows were on the bottom, but most of the bows were suspended. Seemed slow, but most everything that came through would hit once or twice.
Wind started up at 5:00, so I packed up and left.
Hope this helps,
Chester
