Finally signed up for BFT and wanted to thank everyone for all your great insights and comments!! I live in Provo and wanted to take the AM tomorrow to do some ice fishing. I was thinking either trying for the big bows at Yuba or hitting Deer Creek/Jordanelle for some perch. Yuba was great about a year ago but I haven't heard much since then. Also, what is the best way to get the perch at Jordanelle (where on the lake)?

[cool][#0000ff]Welcome aboard. Send me a PM with your mailing address if you would like a couple of BFT stickers.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Yuba really tanked on rainbows this last year. They never did show up much, even in the fall. Haven't heard of any being caught through the ice.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Jordanelle is good for trout in Rock Cliff arm and also north of Hailstone. Not many perch showing up in RC but some have been taken around Hailstone, in 50 feet of water. Fish the standard small jig with waxworm, perch meat or bit of crawler just off the bottom. You usually have to look for them. Hope you have a good sonar.[/#0000ff]
