I was driving home yesterday, and decided to swing by Lake Lowell and see if the ice was off yet, so I could fish a little, since we've been having warmer weather. I saw two kids ice skating quite a ways out from the shore, so that was my answer, but it also kind of ooked me out, since we don't ice fish there. I'm not sure how they knew the thickness of the ice.

I have a healthy fear and respect for fast currents, cold water, and ice.

Funny, too, how DNR, dept. of natural resource, the acronym also stands for Do Not Resuscitate...

the kids here use the old sticks and stones method...

if the hocky stick dosnt go though then it is good..

no wonder we pull so many stiff kids out of the stiff wake...
