hey everyone, just signed up. looks like a fun, imformative board. in the middle of ice fishin here. goin again saturday. got a deluxe redneck ice shanty on a lake a mile from here. cant wait till saturday! well, just sayin hi.

what is the species of choice though the ice on your pond?

mine is gills, but I always take time to check out the others, walleye, perch, crappie, pike, bass, ect...

From whence do you thrive and fish? I'm in the middle of 10,000+ lakes here in the Twin Cities suburbs.

It's great to see new members come in here that can show us some of their wonderful catches and tell us the stories about the one's that got away, or were too big to fit in the picture. LOL. [angelic]

well, i am from northern minnesota, but living in SE south dakota, a little town called Humboldt. Beaver Lake is about a mile east of town here, so it is nice and convenient to fish at the drop of a hat. i like fishin for crappies, and beaver has alot of em. i fish all the lakes around here, thompson, diamond,island. i dont targer anything, just fish.
