You never know where u might meet a BFT member
#1
I was on a flight from dallas to salt lake fri. night and I sat down in my seat and started striking up some conversation with the guy next to me I mentioned that I like to fish and thats all it took. He asked if I've ever been on BFT I told him my screen name and he told me he was OLD_COOT I had seen the name many of times on here. We had a great flight talking to each other and now we have made plans to go fishing toghether he's going to help me out with the wiper at willard. So I guess you could say it's a small world after all..

WOW! that is strange... I was under the impression that all BFT'ers were on the FBI's " NO FLY LIST"- [Wink]

I guess security in Dallas has gotten a little lax...PB

Why is it that only the UT BFTers are the ones that are out and about??

In the past 3 years I have fished with more UT members in Cali than I have fished with Cali members in Cali. hmmmmm go figure.

Guests that have come to fish with me are JedBurton 2 times.
Brownskie 15times.
Fishesalot 1 time

Keep on coming guys. You are always welcome here. Just don't plan on any hard water.[cool]

[#002850]Good to meet you ROYTROUT. It's always a bonus to talk with someone who enjoys fishing. And a double bonus when they are fellow BFTers.

It was kind of funny to realize that we both had purchased, and were reading, In Fisherman magazines to pass the flight time.

I'm looking forward to trading a few guided Willard wiper and Pineview musky trips for a few guided Echo trout trips.

I know you were just a bit frustrated that your 12 year old son always catches more fish than you or anyone in your boat. Have faith my friend ... enough practice and you can at least catch up with him some day.[Tongue][/#002850]
