The opener is on approach. The preparation has already started. Jars and Jars of Power Bait, Sierra Gold and Crave Nitro are falling off of the shelves and into peoples fishing kits in preparation of Central Californias biggest day of the year.

As far as Hysperia Goes, that should be alot of fun with the Sturgeon. I'm sure they will do like they do at all the other SoCal lakes and put them in for C&R only. That's pretty cool though. It gives you a chance to catch them again.[Smile]

I do indeed enjoy fishing for the trout up thier in fact that is where I am going for my wedding anniversary. We also like to fish in bishop and the lower elevations[Wink]

That sounds like fun. I usually try to avoid the opener but I do go on Memorial Day and Labor Day every year. There are a lot of good place for LMB up there too.

I mostly fish the LMB and the Smallies. There are some good Cats too. They are alot of fun on light tackle.[cool]
