I may be in for another tussle with my tube in the bath as I attempt to find the extremely slow leak I have in one of the air bladders on my Fat Cat. Unlike TD who has an understanding wife who shares his passion I will have to wait for my wife to be away for several hours. If she sees me in the tub with my tube she'll think I've finally lost it.

Give her a 100.00$ and tell her there is a sale on shoes at DSW.
Oh wait as i think about it that may be a bad idea as some new guts might not be much more expensive than that.

I have been told if you add some amonia to your soapy water mixture it will show a slow leak better, must bubble easier?

Don,
You might be able to get away with just a pan of soapy water and something to brush it on. I have found holes in rafts that way. Just make sure your soap/water is a high enough concentration so that it will cling to the outside. When you're finished take it outside and hose it off.
Oops! Let me rephrase that. When you finish you'll already be outside. You don't have to do it in the house.

[cool][#0000ff]Us tubers and tooners suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous derision anyway. What is another round of rolling eyeballs, shrugs and sighs? Dagnabbit ya sometimes justgotta let 'em know..."WOMAN, THIS IS WHAT I DO." After all, you could also have some even more expensive and wacko hobbies...like golf...or another woman. Make her happy that the worst thing you do is tubing.[/#0000ff]

Thanks for the idea on how to get over the tubing cabin fever. I will try my bath tub next time. My wife already thinks I'm crazy.[cool]
