Lake Mead Above The Dam Striper Limits.
#1
Hello Everyone,

I talked to one of my friends over the weekend and he informed me that the daily limit on striped bass has increased. I also called the Nevada Department of Wildlife. They said:

UNLIMITED ON FISH UNDER 20 INCHES.

AND 20 FISH THAT ARE OVER 20 INCHES.

I think this is the same as Lake Mohave.
Everyone keep your lines tight and good fishing to all.

Thanks for the heads up. I've spoken to a couple rangers at the Temple Bar Marina, and they don't mind fishermen taking out all the stripers since they are so predatory and eat everything in sight.

Best regards,

I will gladly join the cruSade to catch unlimited stripers! Always thought that reducing their numbers will increase their size.

Yeah, more food for fewer, bigger fish... Sounds great!

You know what's weird. I've fished the same spots at Mead over and over again, and there always seems to be a ton of stripers in those same spots. It's like I'm not making a dent at all. But I'm not complaining, the fishing is always great there.

Best regards,

Paul
