Lincon Beach is now Fishable
#1
Took a ride with the fam down to the lake this morning. There was open water on the north of the two dikes at lincon and there was someone fishing the end of the dike. The entire west side of the lake is ice free. Someone even put a boat in down past the old sheep barn and was fishing the springs and the island. It is just to bad that all of the access is cut off.

[cool][#0000ff]Thanks for the update. When we were down there Friday and saw the rotten broken ice I knew it wouldn't be long.[/#0000ff]

One of the boats was launched just south of the old sheep barn. The sheep barn is around 3-5 miles around the point towards Genola. Just past the barn is an access to the lake and I have seen many people launch boats in this area. 4 wheel drive is recommended.

By the way we saw 5 bald Eagles on our trip, 4 of them were on the ice just southeast of the dike at lincon.
