It's been a long time but I'm pretty sure there are crawfish in Willard. I think I caught a smallmouth a few years back that had one in its stomach. WH2

Yup, they are there. Just not in big numbers. Too many predators in there that like to munch on them.

Years ago, every rock at the South Marina had 3-6 dads underneath it. But then there was a massive smallie increase in population. Within a few years, the dads were basically gone. TD is right......they are just easy prey and Willard has no cover during the drought.
