Willard Sunday
#1
Decided to launch out of the south marina Sunday morning around 8am. Water was very shallow at the ramp, 1.5-3.5 ft. Once we got into the main outlet channel the water was anywhere from 3.5-7ft. Fished the south side for most of the morning and early afternoon. Trolled various jigs & cranks from 1.0-2.5 mph. Managed to land 4 healthy wipers and lost at least that many. Weather was a bit windy at times but all in all not too bad.

Nice report Chad, we were also impressed with the size of the wipers, nice and fat. They must have been eating good during the winter. Were you the only one launching at the South marina or were there a lot of people?

Very few other boats. Upon arrival there was us and one other vehicle, when we got back there were probably 10 cars parked at the south marina and I would guess most of them were shore anglers.
