April Flows

Just a little reminder that April is generally the month that flows at the Dams start to increase across the State. We have many canals that will start the filling process starting Monday, so expect Dams from Boise to Palies to go with the flow, so to speak.

Fished the South Fork on Saturday--water level is still very low, but they will probably release out of Palies in the next couple of weeks. Water was very, very clear, which was surprising since run-off is usually coloring it by now. Fishing was slow--a couple of cuts, a couple of browns (none big enough to keep) and a whitefish. Didn't see any of the fly fisherman doing very well either.
