Newton
#1
Trolled from one end to the other and then fished the north bay for a while- Nada. The wind was a factor early. Fished off the dam for the last hour and again nada. I did manage to lose a nice pocket knife between the parking lot and the ramp though.

Thanks for posting your report PF, hopefully the warm weather this weekend will improve the catching, too bad about your knife[unsure]. What was the water temp? WH2

What were you fishing for in Newton?
How cold was the water?

Didn't bring the thermometer. I am just outfitting a new boat and really was seeing how the motor ran. Trolled for Tiger Muskie and then pitched jigs for bass. There were a few pitching for bass but didn't see them do well either.

It's a little North and West of Logan.I've never done much there until the water warms up.It's still recovering from the low water years.

I have herd of some hi 20 low30 inchers coming out of there last fall. It used to be good before the two low water years in a row I think it took its toll on a lot of the bigger fish? Before the low water years a 45" was very possible! M.H.
