Finding Anchovies for Powell

[#008058]Where does a guy find anchovies around Kanab or Page without having to pay a fortune at the Marinas...Sportsmans lost their distributor, so they don't carry them anymore...We are going to spend some time down at Powell, so we need a bunch if we are going to chum.[/#008058]

Walmart in Page should have them.Walmart in general usually carrys them.Check out Waynes Words.com that might have more resorces,you can even email Wayne and he can tell you.

Gas stations enroute to LP have them. Gas stations at the marinas have them. Dock-side shops have them too. If you're not going Wahweap, then buy them in Hanksville gas stations.

buy them at the marina same price better anchoves.and they are fresh and not frezzer burned.its like trying to buy your gas in hankesville.its cheper at the store at the marina in bullfrog.if your going to whaweepchovies are all over page or the marina.

Where ever you buy them, keep 'em frozen. Once they thaw out they get pretty mushy and ripe! Have a great time & post some pics.
