Port O'Connor Jetty action??

I'm going to be down in Port OC April 22-25 and would like to get some details about the jetties in the area.

Can the jetties be reached without a boat or do I need to get one to get out to them?

Alan,
There are many jettys in the Port'O area all of them are accessable without a boat. Port'O has some great areas of fishing and is always an adventure to remember. I hope you have a safe and productive outing in the Port'O area. Please come back and let us know how your trip was.

Thanks ssor!! Having never fished in this area before... I can easily reach the jetties from the shoreline correct? Or would I have to do some wading?

Any recommendations on bait & rigging? I'm thinking of 17 lb. mono with popping cork and shrimp roughly a foot off the floor... any other suggestions?
