Hey Majja,
Thanks for the pics--that gives me some great ideas of what I can do once I start setting mine up! Do you use a 12v gel cell battery? Is that the black thing I see sticking out of the right front pocket? Nice job w/your mods!

Thanks. I am tweaking it a little more I think the side that the scotty rod holder needs to come up a little higher. And yes I do use a 12v gel cell, but the black you saw was just one of my neoprene gloves. I keep the battery in the back of the big compartment.

I like the use of the drain as the base for the fishfinder. Very ingenious!!!

Thanks but I can not take full credit for it. I think I stole the idea from Zonker.

Yeah, well, you must realize that he (zonker) stole it from someone too.[cool]

[cool][#0000ff]We anglers need to be careful in how we phrase things. The "diplomatically correct" term for theft is "accomodation by admiration".[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]I also use terms like "accomodated" or "appropriated".[/#0000ff]

It's taken me all day to figure out what's different about your setup Majja. Something just didn't seem normal but I've been up for two days now and thought it was just me but I figured it out. You have pole holders on both sides at the tube. Two on the left and three on the right. Do you fish with poles on both sides?
I would love to come over and look at your setup when your in town. I might even [#0000ff]"accomodate" or "appropriate" [/#0000ff][#000000]a couple or your ideas when I build my new setup as I'm keeping my old one for my other tube.[/#000000]

Shoot me a Pm and we can arrange something. I actually fish both left and right. I am finding that i actually like my stuff on the left more. But with both it gives me options. Most of my system is modular and can be removed at this time. I

Did you drill a big hole through the drain and then put the PVC through it? Looks like 1" pipe?

Yea Pretty much. The horizontal PVC is actually 3/4 ID sced 40. So it makes nice 1" outers. Where it was on the side i drilled the hole and than took my Dremel and a small sanding drum and elongated it to fit the pipe going straight through. The Drain top does not fit as tight as I would like it to so I just need to add some around it to tighten up the fit.
