What do you all think of the Hyrda Lures? They are pretty neat, and from my little bit of experience with them they are very good. I was pulling out bass like nothing with them. Have any of you ever tried them? If you havent heard of them go to https://www.hydralure.com/ver2/index.asp?did=&refcode=ver2

they dont look too bad, but i generally avoid anything that says, "as seen on tv!" but, with that said, im sure theyd catch fish. heck, if the banjo minnow can catch fish, anything can! personally id invest my hard earned dollars on proven lures like rapalas, mepps, kastmasters, lucky crafts, assasin spinners, etc. but, if you do get the "hydro lures" be sure to report on how they work for ya!

I agree with bkidder. Remember the flying lure? It would shoot away from you under docks. I could have been throwing rocks and spooking less fish.

Maybe you could send some to a few members to try. We have a board just for that.

They work pretty well for through weeds i guess. I havent used them much, as i just got some off of ebay for cheaper than the website, but i watched a friend of mine who bought them himself and he was just pulling fish after fish out of the water with them. It was crazy lol. The pond we were fishing at had a lot of weeds and stuff in the water (I know because my stupid spinner bait kept getting caught on them lol) and he didnt come up very often with anything other than fish attached.

I tend to do the same, i never believe the tv offers because if it was really that good they wouldnt sell the stuff for so cheap and all that, but when I actually saw it in person for myself, I was amazed. I thought it was the cooest thing. I got my set, 6 heads with 3 different sizes, 64 tails, and a case with a cd off of ebay for 11.99, not including the shipping which really hurt lol, but still. It aint that bad at all.
