Sweet Briar Problem!?!
#1
There have been recent reports of the water in Sweet Briar being a reddish color. I saw this happen to Mcdowell Dam and it was really bad. After that, the water just kept getting worse and worse.
The water is turning this color because of the cattle feeds that are close to the lake and they drain into near by streams, which eventually ends up on the bigger bodies of water.

What are we going to do about this?!?

I'd say you need to contact your local Department of Natural Resources and send them an email. If you get the contact info, just post it on this thread. I'll send them and email too!

We'll bug the hell out of them and make them take a look at it. [cool]

Yeah, I think that would be a really good idea.
It just sucks around here because it seems that some of the places i fish that offer really good fishing, they stopped taking care of the places because they must think its done for or something, but it's def. not.

I'm sure the whole lake isnt red. I doubt it will be a problem.
