Scofield 4/22

[OCF]

Arrived after 7:00 a.m. and began trolling Scofield. Fished until noon. Caught four fish (rainbows) all about 12-inches long, had three to four good hits that were missed. Used both long lines and down riggers. Caught all fish with rapala's (various colors) on long lines. Did not get a hit with any spoons or spinners that I know of. Saw plenty of fish on the fish finder, the larger ones were at 19-20 feet in depth.

Did not see many fish being caught either on the bank or other boats. Saw one other boat with one fish. The wind was cold. The approaching storm could have put off the bite? Not the best day of fishing [unsure].

Thanks for posting your report OCF and nice user name. I was wondering what OCF stood for, glad you included it at the bottom of your post. To bad the catching was so slow, I heard a similar report about East canyon. I'm sure the weather was the problem, better luck next time. WH2
