Magic and Carey report
#1
Went to Carey friday and came home with some nice bluegill and had lots of action[Wink] It was a great day[cool]

Went to Magic Sat. afternoon. Water was 50 deg and there was a slight breeze. Saw fish on the screen but no one would come up and play. My buddy had one bump and the yardsale tube I got him split out[unsure].

We stopped at the Manhatan resturaunt for oyster stew on the way home[laugh].

Drove up sunday to pioneer res in the rain and it has water don't know about the fish yet, looks like a fun place to fish.

Thanks for the update on Carey Lake. I need to get the old boat over there and catch a few of those spunky bluegills. What lures do you recommend?

I have been using my 4/5 fly rod with a pheasant tail or a zubbug. Casting from one side to the other and trying to lay the fly in the weeds (without getting snagged[crazy]).

Be carefull cause the bass are small and many, they can be there and you don't even feel them.[Sad]
