I need a little info. on elk hunting.I'm from Okla. and drew in on an antlerless elk hunt in zone 50 in Colorado.Any advise or info will be greatly appreciated.Thanks<br><br>

treestep, <br>If you are going self guided, I would make a few calls and talk to the locals. Call the local Game Warden first. Get his/her insight into your hunt (date, weather and migration) then ask their opinion on some of the better places to hunt in area 50. They may be able to provide a list of ranchers that allow hunting on their property. This has worked very well for me over the years, and who knows, you may make some lifelong friends. sey treestep how did you do on you elk hunt?<br>I drew a any thing tag 15 years ago and came home empty handed.
