Well Michigan's trout season opened up this past saturday, tho it has been for catch and release since the first of april.
Michigan planted trout this season was realy devistated this year by some yet unknown to me desease in the hatcherys. Most all of the trout that michigan would have normaly planted this year had been destroid, there were a few breading size trout planted and thousands of fingerlings, "7-8 inchers" in place of the lost stockers.
Dispite this, a few nice fish were caught by those few lucky gents who happened to be at the right place at the right time...
