[black]46 lbs of thrust of good, if you plan on pulling a water skier.[/black]

Most tooners that I know use the 30, and rarely ever turn it up all the way. (the faster you go, the more battery it uses)

The location of the motor, either front or back is a matter of preference. Same with the method of steering.

TubeDude has posted a vast collection of photos on the forum, as well as there are several discussions about these subjects posted during recent months.

The big selling point of the Vector is the steering ratio set up. If you're going to use your fins for steering, I would spend half the money, and get the Endura.

The fish god (Boyde I think) at cabela's was saying the reason to go with the vector is battery life. It is supposed to use only one fifth of the power or something like that.
Thanks for the reply and happy to be here. Will probably go with the endrua 30 I would like to take it apart and see how to make it better anyway. Also seems like the right price. Maybe even a pawnshop.
Sorry on second look it's not the Vector it's the Maxxum 40T to many to choose from.

[black]Wow!! 5 times the battery life.[/black]

That's a great feature. It even comes with a read out for battery drain.

I don't know if those features are worth $279.00 but for some they are the answer.

Those multiple day trips hauling the batteries into a motel room to charge is a pain, and running a noisy generator day and night is no joy either.

Do you know is there is a weight difference?

Can only find shipping weights. But you have brought up a really good point. Endrua shipping weight 39 lbs, Maxxum 23 lbs. Thats a big weight diff. Keep in mind thats shipping weight . So don't really know.

All I am going to say is be sure to set you boat up right and balance everything out. Understand that with the extra weight you will need to slide your FRAME forward on the toons.
I see this! all too often:

[#0000ff]So in essence, what you and Cabelas are saying is, you can use the Vector 46 lb. thrust for 5 days on your kickboat and the Endura 30 lb. thrust, will last only for 1 day? (hypothetically[/#0000ff])
