[unsure] does anyone know if deer creek is ice free and how much water is there on the ramp. can you launch a boat there yet please post any info. thanks

Good to have you on the board Tr, there has been a couple of guys fishing Deer creek and yes it is ice free. It depends on which ramp you are talking about but the ramp closest to the dam has plenty of water to launch. WH2

We were up there Saturday. there was a bunch of boats out on the lake.It looked like they lanched from the state park. The fishing for us was slow.[Sad] We started on the north shore by the dam. I caught 1- 16" rainbow on a Mepps.My buddy caught a rainbow on green powerbait.We spent 4hrs on that side before we moved over to the island.We caught 1 -13" rainbow on green powerbait. The weather was cold and windy most of the day. It rain for a little while.
