I am thinking about going to Pineview for a morning float tomorrow, but am still up in the air. I have to be at my mom and dads by 2:30 in the afternoon so Pineview affords me the most fishing time. But as always I am open to suggestions as well. The big decision is to try for some Crappie (I have never caught one) go to Willard and play with the kitties and Wipers, head to lake X and try for the smallies or lastly take the scenic drive to EC on my way to Mt Green. Just to many decisions what is a lonely floater to do.

[cool][#0000ff]Saturday is "Free Fishing Day"...no license required. That usually puts a lot of amateur "tanglers" on most waters and really makes it tough for serious fishermen.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]But, Saturday is also supposed to be one of the rare NICE days in a string of nasty ones. [/#0000ff]

Free fishing day, I forgot all about that. But after fishing form a boat for a few days I feel dirty and need to be cleansed of my sins. I am thinking if I hit either Pineview or Willard early enough I can get away form the shore tanglers. And am preying that the sub 80 degree temps keep the skiers down a little.

[cool][#0000ff]I can't get out Saturday but I might be up for joining you at Willard south marina on Sunday...EARLY.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]I have found that the best thing to keep the skiers down is heavy chain and a block of cement.[/#0000ff]

[cool][#0000ff]Just in case you haven't checked your calendar and your social schedule, that is Fathers' Day. I am likely to be fulfilling my responsibilities in that area. I qualify.[/#0000ff]

You could take advantage of the Free Fishing Day in SoCal. You don't even need an out of state license to fish here.[cool]
