Any Mantua reports?
#1
Planning on fishing Mantua tomorrow with my daughter and granddaughters. Anyone fished it in the last few days? Particularly interested if the bluegill and perch are biting?

[#002850]This is a piece of the information I found there: [/#002850]
The nice thing about fishing for bluegill and other sunfish, is that usually the only thing you need to do to have success is to locate a school. If you can do that, then usually just about anything small you throw at them will catch fish.

Another old fart buddy of mine and 4 kids fished from the shore on the 3rd at the N.E. pont and caught a fair amont of blues. Not sure what they used, crappy jigs, worms,.??? Hope this helps. Cught a few bass also. Check the shallows in the N.E. and S.E. (inlet) corner too.

Dremarysol, thanks for your reply. Be aware that I know a little about fishing for bluegills and also fishing Mantua. Here is my last report when I took my granddaughters up there in my boat.

I apologize for any impression I might have left about your knowledge or ability in fishing. I saw your post on the home page and looked it up for my interest so I thought I would contribute what I had learned. I am sorry it was not what you were looking for. I'll let utah forum stick with utah posts. My fault. Hope you had a good time. Take care.
