Got on the water from the S. marina in the kayak about 7:45 pm. water temp 72, air 80. Talked to boaters coming in, one boat nothing, another boat wiper, eyes, carp, and cats.

Saw no boils, picked up one large wiper in 10ft in front of the channel. fast troll 2" blue silver crank bait, probably a foot below the surface. Will have a video shortly.

Pulled out at 10 pm, another boat pulling out had 10 from the west side.

Needed DEET from about dark on...

Thanks for the report. We saw a guy pull an eye from that same area, and we had a few bumps and hookups in that area too. [cool]

Was that you in the red Kayak straight out of the marina?? The little white tri-hull was me and my friend launching just before dark. There were tons of boils but the only fish we caught were 4"-5" wipers on almost every cast.
